💼 Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join a high-volume radiology department in Charlotte, NC. This role involves performing MRI procedures across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency populations while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
🕒 Schedule & Shift
- Shift: 10-hour Nights
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- No on-call
- Holiday Requirement: 75% of holidays
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality imaging
- Verify and review physician orders prior to procedures
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging exams
- Administer IV contrast per protocol
- Monitor patient condition and respond to any changes
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams
- Maintain MRI safety standards for patients and staff
- Assist with procedures involving anesthesia when required
👩⚕️ Patient Population
- ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases
- Patients with medical devices
- No cardiac imaging

- High-volume MRI department (approx. 23 studies/day)
- Advanced imaging technology including GE 1.5T MRI

- EMR: EPIC
- RIS: Epic Radiant
- PACS: Philips iSite
✅ Requirements
- ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- No state licensure required
