Job Details
- Job Title: CT Technologist / CT Tech (Computed Tomography Technologist) – Travel
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,450
- Location: Anchorage, AK 99508 (Anchorage healthcare / Alaska CT jobs)
- Facility Type: Acute Hospital, Magnet Facility, Level II Trauma Center
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Shift: 5x8-hour days (Monday–Saturday between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM; rotating Saturdays; no Sundays or holidays)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Charting / EMR: Epic (preferred experience)
- Perks: Scrub color provided, free parking
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience (Computed Tomography / diagnostic imaging)
- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- X-ray experience required: extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, lower/upper extremities
- Preferred: fluoroscopy and enema studies experience
- Experience with Epic charting preferred (electronic medical record experience)
- Must be willing to float between CT and X-ray as needed
- Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates accepted)
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
- Valid state radiologic technologist license (pending license accepted)
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps
- Hepatitis B vaccination required
Responsibilities / Clinical Duties
- Perform CT scans and diagnostic X-ray imaging for a diverse outpatient population, including follow-up cancer diagnosis patients
- Start IVs, run I-stat labs, administer contrast, and post-process CT images
- Float between CT and X-ray units to meet facility demand and support outpatient imaging workflow
- Provide high-quality imaging for extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head/chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
- Assist with fluoroscopy and enema studies when required
- Maintain accurate documentation and image records using the Epic charting system
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and compliance requirements
