The Cleveland Clinic Florida Neurological Institute is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Neurosurgeon with a focus in spine surgery to join the Cleveland Clinic Florida Health System at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida.
This is an exciting opportunity for a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon with dedicated training and clinical experience in spine surgery to join an established team and play an integral role in the continued growth of neurosurgical and spine services on Florida’s Treasure Coast.
The Opportunity
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery and fellowship trained, with a strong focus and demonstrated experience in spine neurosurgery.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of three neurosurgeons and will contribute to the continued growth and expansion of the Center for Neurosciences, with an emphasis on developing and expanding comprehensive spine care.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive clinical care for patients with complex and degenerative spinal disorders.
- Performing spine surgical procedures, with opportunities to develop and expand a focused spine practice.
- Participating in the continued growth of Cleveland Clinic’s spine and neurosurgical programs on the Treasure Coast.
- Collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment with neurosurgery, neurology, orthopaedics, pain management, physical medicine and rehabilitation, radiology and other specialty services.
- Participating in clinical research and opportunities for academic collaboration.
- Contributing to programmatic development, quality improvement and future growth initiatives.
- Collaborating with colleagues throughout Cleveland Clinic Florida and Cleveland Clinic’s enterprise in Ohio.
We are particularly interested in candidates with advanced training and/or significant clinical experience in spine neurosurgery, including complex and degenerative spine conditions, minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal reconstruction and other advanced spine procedures.
