Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to gauge clients' mental and emotional states, facilitating effective treatment planning.
- Design and implement individualized treatment strategies that address clients' specific needs and treatment goals.
- Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of all ages, employing a strengths-based approach to promote emotional healing.
- Provide couples therapy that emphasizes communication, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement strategies.
- Continuously monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to reflect changes in client circumstances.
- Document all client interactions meticulously, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to enhance treatment outcomes through coordinated client care.
- Engage in crisis intervention when needed to support clients experiencing acute emotional distress.
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy and integrate evidence-based practices into your work.
- Commit to ongoing professional development by participating in training opportunities and workshops.
- Advocate for clients' rights and well-being, educating them about self-care and wellness practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of client engagement.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our therapists will serve a varied clientele, including adolescents facing identity and social issues, adults managing anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and couples seeking to improve their partnership dynamics. We aim to provide tailored care to ensure that each client's unique challenges and backgrounds are understood and addressed thoughtfully.
Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
- An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the State Board is essential.
- Strong skills in conducting effective client assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Competency in providing therapy to both individuals and couples.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients empathetically and effectively.
Preferred Experience
- At least two years of professional experience working with diverse client populations.
- Experience utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and client management is advantageous.
- A background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
