Retina Specialists of San Antonio is a physician owned private practice seeking BC/BE Fellowship trained Medical/Surgical Retina Specialist for a full-time position. We currently have two vitreoretinal surgeons and are looking for an additional surgeon due to practice growth. The incoming physician will join a well-established and known retina only practice. We only see adult patients and have an experienced and efficient team of technicians, scribes, and front desk staff. Our main office is in San Antonio and we have established satellite offices that are a short drive away in Boerne, New Braunfels, and Hondo. We do not participate in hospital call coverage and have a shared call group (retina only) for weekend coverage among other retina practices in town. You should expect to see 40-80 patients per day. San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the US by population and is a vibrant multicultural community rich in history with several world class museums, recreational parks, and amusement parks, including Six Flags, Sea World and Schlitterbahn. We also have fine dining and several wineries within a short drive. We are located a short drive from the Texas gulf coast and the Texas Hill Country. We have a safe community with low cost of living, international airport, excellent public and private schools and Universities and no state income tax.

Full-time position as medical surgical retina/uveitis specialist. Compensation to be discussed during interview. Full benefits package includes medical, dental, 401K, cash balance plan, vacation, travel reimbursement for meetings.
