Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at our center, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the mental health needs of students in a school environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive psychological assessments to understand each student's strengths and challenges, followed by developing individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and personalized strategies.
- Conducting group and individual therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), assisting students in learning coping skills and emotional regulation.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation to comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and contributing to seamless communication within the treatment team.
- Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings with educators, psychologists, and other health professionals to collaboratively develop holistic approaches for each student's well-being.
- Providing guidance and educational workshops to students, families, and school personnel on mental health topics, aiming to reduce stigma and foster a supportive community around mental health awareness.
- Continuously updating professional knowledge through ongoing training, attending conferences, and integrating new research findings into your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. By establishing strong therapeutic relationships, you will equip these young individuals with the tools they need to navigate their emotional landscapes, thereby enhancing their academic performance and social interactions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practice.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee, showcasing your professional competence.
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with adolescents, to offer a robust perspective on developmental and psychological issues.
- Proficiency in diverse therapeutic approaches, particularly solution-oriented strategies tailored to youth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and encourage openness with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
