Lead Doctor/Dentist – Specialty Startup (Palo Alto)

We are launching a new specialty-focused dental center in Palo Alto, and we are seeking a Lead Doctor to be the clinical head of a modern, fully equipped startup practice.

This is an ideal role for: 

A specialist (Endodontist, Periodontist, Prosthodontist, Oral Surgeon)
OR an experienced general dentist with strong surgical skills
Someone who wants to build a boutique specialty brand from the ground up

Your Role

Provide specialty-level patient care
Lead clinical protocols and standards
Help shape the identity of the new specialty center
Collaborate with owners on clinical vision
(Optional) Participate in marketing & networking with local GPs
Grow the practice and become the primary clinical leader

Compensation

Because this is a startup, compensation is structured to reward growth:

Guaranteed base (negotiable)
High percentage of production (35–45% depending on specialty)
Signing bonus available
CE reimbursement
Optional equity/ownership track for long-term candidates

Who Should Apply

Specialists (Perio, Endo, OS, Pros)
OR general dentists with advanced surgical/restorative skills
3+ years clinical experience
Interest in leadership or practice building
Comfortable with digital workflows
CA license in good standing
