Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric surgeon at the assistant or associate professor level. Successful candidates will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region.

Surgery Program & Position Highlights:

Join a dynamic team at Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale, Arkansas, of four surgeons and numerous advanced practice providers and specialty nurses, providing nationally ranked and recognized care to patients statewide and regionally. Other highlights include:

Requirements

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

• Successfully completed general surgery residency
• ACGME-accredited pediatric surgery fellowship
• ACGME-accredited surgical critical care fellowship
• American Board of Surgery certified or eligible in General Surgery and Pediatric Surgery
• Strong interest in growing a clinical practice
• Commitment to research, resident and fellow education and surgical quality
